Not every bedroom needs the most layers. Some just need the right ones.
The RUP-2601 takes a simpler route than our gel-memory-foam models: a quilted comfort panel over a full pocketed coil unit, with a reinforced perimeter. No gel, no exotic materials — just a well-built spring mattress with a genuinely medium-soft feel (around 4.5 to 5 out of 10) and a cover that feels good the moment you lie down.
It's the one to pick when you want pocket-spring support and quiet sleep at a sensible price.
1 · A Quilted Comfort Panel, Not a Stack
Quilted into one panel rather than laid loosely, so the quilting holds its shape and the surface stays flat over time.
2 · 2.0 mm Pocketed Coils That Move Independently
Each spring sits in its own fabric pocket, so the mattress responds point by point — compressing under your hips, barely moving under your calves. Two things follow:
An open coil core also lets air circulate through the mattress rather than trapping it — a quiet advantage in a warm room.
3 · Three Rows of Reinforcement Around the Edge
Ordinary pocket spring beds fail at the perimeter first. Three rows of heavier 2.2 mm coils (approx. 13 gauge) run around all four sides: sitting on the edge feels solid, the full width is usable (a Queen genuinely feels wider), and the bed resists sagging outward over years of use.

Side sleepers · lighter body weights · couples who want less disturbance · guest rooms · anyone who wants pocket-spring support without paying for layers they won't notice.
Back and stomach sleepers over about 230 lb (105 kg) will usually prefer something firmer. And if you specifically want the contouring, heat-drawing feel of memory foam, look at our gel memory foam models instead.
Single-sided — never flip it, just rotate 180° every 3–6 months. Arrives compressed and roll-packed in one reinforced carton: sleepable within hours, full height in 24–72 hours. A faint new-mattress smell for a day or two is normal; ventilate and it clears.

Does this have memory foam? No — this model uses comfort foam and high-resilience foam over a pocketed coil unit, without a gel memory foam layer. If you want memory foam contouring, see our gel models.
How soft is medium soft? About 4.5–5 out of 10 — cushioned on first touch, but it doesn't swallow you.
Will I feel my partner moving? Less than on a traditional open-coil bed. Individually pocketed springs absorb most movement before it crosses the mattress.
Do I need to flip it? No. Single-sided — just rotate head-to-foot every few months.
How long until it's ready? Sleepable within hours; full height in 24–72 hours.
